Intergraph Announces GeoSpatial World 2003 and Issues Call for Presentations 07.24.2002

Seeking real-world GIS, map and chart production, and land information management applications.

Intergraph Mapping and GIS Solutions and the Intergraph GeoSpatial Users Community (IGUC) will host the third annual GeoSpatial World, the IGUC International Training and Management Conference, in New Orleans, Louisiana, May 19-21. GeoSpatial World is a forum for new ideas and innovations that expand the application of geospatial information. Sponsored by IGUC and Intergraph Mapping and GIS Solutions, GeoSpatial World is targeted at decision makers, managers, staff, and users who create or use geospatial information technology in cadastre, education, local and regional governments, location-based services, mapping agencies, military, defense and intelligence, public works and utilities, and transportation. Conference program details can be found on the Web at www.geospatialworld.com/.

Call for Presentations online
IGUC invites mapping and GIS professionals to submit abstracts for GeoSpatial World 2003 technical presentations that range from implementation processes to project results, from organizational issues to lessons learned along the way. The deadline for abstract submission is November 1, 2002.

Abstracts should deal with real-world applications of Intergraph Mapping and GIS Solutions' GIS and mapping software for geospatial infrastructure management, land information management, and map production and development. Intergraph users are asked to submit abstracts that focus on one of three areas: development, solutions, and industry. They can participate through paper presentations, invited sessions, workshops, or panel discussions. For detailed information on the focus areas and how to submit an abstract online, visit www.geospatialworld.com/call.
