Technical assessment of Radius Topology delivers vast performance improvements for InfoTech Enterprises Europe.

Laser-Scan's newest product Radius Topology is continuing to impress. IT consultants InfoTech Europe last week undertook preliminary testing of Radius Topology. The first test involved conducting a spatial intersect query on InfoTech Europe's data within the Oracle9i environment. Radius Topology significantly enhanced the speed the spatial query was delivered, reducing the time from 55 seconds to instantaneous!

InfoTech Europe is now working closely with Laser-Scan to help develop improved Oracle solutions.

Radius Topology is an advanced spatial processing environment that extends the standard Oracle9i database and provides dramatic improvements to the speed and consistency of spatial data manipulation. Laser-Scan's Radius Topology works behind the scenes, automatically adding topological intelligence to data; existing Oracle spatial software and GIS (Geographical Information System) applications can continue unchanged.

Laser-Scan is joining InfoTech Europe on their stand at the GeoSolutions event next month (17-19 September, Earls Court 2, London). Find out how Radius Topology is adding value to InfoTech Europe's offering at stand D5.

Laser-Scan's Radius Topology will also be on show on the Autodesk stand (D25), the GDC stand (J10) and the Snowflake Software stand (F38).
