CAiCE Software Corporation’s Fifth Annual International Users Conference (ICUC) will be held April 28-May 2, 2002 at the Adam’s Mark Hotel in Clearwater Beach, Florida. Highlighting the 40-plus training sessions will be presentations by such organizations as FHWA, Florida, Arkansas, Montana and British Columbia Departments of Transportation. Mr. Dan Nabors representing FHWA will discuss how they will integrate IHSDM (Interactive Highway Safety Design Model) with CAiCE Software. Several DOT’s will also be highlighting transportation engineering projects where CAiCE’s survey, design, construction and drainage software is utilized. Throughout the conference training sessions, CAiCE will also be previewing its newest software release Visual PE that features numerous productivity and engineering enhancements to the CAiCE Software suite of products. Registration for the conference is still open with 170 plus attendees currently slated to attend. Numerous State Departments of Transportation, municipalities and private survey and engineering organizations attend ICUC. ICUC offers surveyors and civil engineers involved in transportation survey and design engineering technical breakout sessions, general presentations, hands-on training, and product demonstrations. The conference has been a great success in providing new and advanced CAiCE users extraordinary training opportunities. A computer lab set up for attendees to use throughout the conference will allow users to try Visual PE and work directly with CAiCE’s Development Team and Application Engineers.
