MoreThe Leica Geosystems User Group Meeting (UGM '02) will take place 18-23 August 2002, in San Diego, Calif., at the Mission Valley Doubletree Hotel. With Leica Geosystems' recent integration of ERDAS and LH Systems, UGM '02 builds on the popular LH Systems User Group Meeting and Aerial Camera Workshop to include seminars and sessions relevant to customers across the entire GIS & Mapping Division. The event will be the Division's principal annual gathering of speakers, specialists and customers from around the globe.
UGM '02 Plenary sessions, parallel sessions, demonstrations and workshops geared at maximizing the benefit of Leica Geosystems solutions will cater to customers in the Division's four product areas: airborne data acquisition, geographic imaging, GPS/GIS, and land information systems. Participants will meet with Leica Geosystems’ executives and engineers, share in the experience of other product users, learn about new improvements and releases of the company's systems and increase their understanding of the extensive functionalities in the existing lines of products.
Although other smaller user meetings will be organized internationally according to customer demand, the UGM '02 event in San Diego promises to be particularly rewarding - uniting, for the first time, users across the entire GIS & Mapping Division and addressing how the recent exciting changes in the company will benefit customers.
