Herman Kahrs passed away unexpectedly on 24 October 2004. His many friends and business associates will remember Herman for his long career in the utility and municipal mapping profession. Born in New York and a long-time resident of Connecticut, Herman was the face of James W. Sewall Company in the Massachusetts, Connecticut, and New York area for 21 years. Prior to Sewall, he represented Vernon Graphics for close to 30 years.
