LH Systems, San Diego, Calif., and Applanix Corporation, Richmond Hill, Ontario, Canada, signed an agreement to incorporate Applanix’s integrated inertial/GPS POS (Position and Orientation) technology into LH Systems’ new airborne digital sensor. Data from the POS system will facilitate post-processing of imagery acquired by the new sensor, which will be released at the XIXth Congress of the International Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (ISPRS) in July 2000.
