Optech Incorporated announced that its Laser Imaging and Industrial Products divisions are being combined into the new Industrial & 3D Imaging Division.

The previously independent divisions will now share common administration, engineering and manufacturing resources, which will lead to a more cohesive strategic focus of the entire product palette. Merging the two divisions will create a larger pool of available resources for both sales and customer support, a requirement that has become clear with recent increases in sales across both divisions.

The new division will be headed up by Brent W. Gelhar, previously the Director of the Laser Imaging Division.

Optech also unveiled a new logo to identify the newly created division and its products.
