SOKKIA announced the addition of the GSR2700 RS and the GSR Reference Station Software to its list of product innovations for the surveying industry. With the state-of-the-art GPS reference station, users can now access valuable GPS information via the Internet twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week.

The GSR2700 RS includes a high-precision, dual-frequency GPS receiver, Pentium-based PC with 80 GB hard drive and nineteen-inch rack mount to fit standard nineteen-inch equipment racks. The GSR2700 RS is compatible with a variety of SOKKIA GPS antennas and comes pre-installed with the GSR Reference Station Software. The GSR Reference Station Software can also be purchased separately and is compatible with a variety of other SOKKIA GPS receivers, including the GSR2600, GSR2650 LB and Radian IS. Accessible from any computer with an available Internet browser, the software allows users to create custom log configurations, gather graphical plots of recent and past satellite information, perform remote download of data files and remote upload of receiver firmware, and much more.
