PCI Geomatics released Geomatica 9 Version 9.1 software, featuring processing performance enhancements, stronger spatial overlay capabilities and additions to the online help. Rigorous photogrammetry model support is included for the Advanced Synthetic Aperture Radar (ASAR) and the MEdium Resolution Imaging Spectrometer (MERIS) sensors aboard Envisat. Improved GIS resources provide advanced functions that broaden remote sensing opportunities while meeting demanding spatial analysis requirements. Advanced atmospheric correction algorithms, cartography features and pan-sharpening capabilities have improved hyperspectral data processing in Version 9.1. User options have also been extended with programmable scripting environments, batch processing features, automation tools and interoperability designs.
