MoreDigital Map Products (DMP), a developer of high-performance Internet-hosted mapping applications announced the addition of several prominent businessmen to its board of directors. This includes Patrick F. Stone, a former CEO at Fidelity National Information Solutions.
Stone and the other new board members, Bruce R. Culver and William Urschel, bring a wealth of business, executive and entrepreneurial experience to DMP that will enhance its corporate strategy to increase penetration into the real estate market and expand nationally.
As a bit of background, DMP provides map-enabled software applications for the government, building, land development, real estate, public works and utilities sectors. Based on an ASP model and with powerful GIS technology, DMP solutions use high-quality satellite photos to form detailed visual map interfaces. These digital visual maps are used to turn raw data and statistics from complex databases into meaningful mapping tools that are usable on a mass-scale. This places the power of digital map-based information systems at the hands of those who will directly benefit, such as city officials, civil engineers, urban planners, land developers and real estate agents.
Patrick F. Stone has a distinguished business career that spans over three decades. Stone served as CEO of Fidelity National Information Solutions Inc., president and COO of Fidelity National Financial, and president of Fidelity National Title of Oregon. Prior to that, Stone held executive positions at various title companies throughout the western United States. In addition to serving on DMP's Board of Directors, Stone holds board positions with Metrocities Mortgage, The Stone Group, Acoustic Home Loans, World Minerals, Homegain.com and the Santa Barbara Museum of Art.
