Map Asia 2003, the 2nd Annual Asian Conference and Exhibition in the field of GIS, GPS, Aerial Photography and Remote Sensing, is a platform for all stakeholders like researchers, users, technology developers, and policy makers to discuss, deliberate and share their knowledge and experiences for benefit of all in the field. Map Asia is scheduled to be held from 17- 19 July 2003 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Confirmation of acceptance: 15th April 2003
Submission of Full Paper: 30th May 2003

We invite you to submit a:

Full paper of 6 to 10 pages (Letter or A4 paper) for oral presentation

Short paper of 2 to 4 pages (Letter or A4 paper) for poster presentation

Submitted papers have to be original, containing new and original results.

Proceedings

Pre-conference proceedings will be brought out on this occasion in a CD. It will be distributed free amongst the participants during the conference and will also be extensively distributed to various libraries; educational institutions and government organisations post conference through out Asia.

Paper Submission

Please include a cover page, which lists the following:

• name, affiliation, address and e-mail address of each author
• name of the presenting author
• name of the contact author
• e-mail address of the contact author
• a maximum of 5 keywords
• Picture of the presenting author and a brief biodata

Submission implies the willingness of at least one of the authors to register and present the paper. Your paper must be submitted electronically to info@mapasia.org. Hard copies should be sent only if electronic submission is not possible.
