Data collector training
ACSM will be offering a RTK/GPS training session on Monday, March 31 at the conference. This will be a good class for Survey Pro GPS users on the Ranger. This class will be taught by a TDS instructor and will be designed to give you beginning-to-intermediate training on the program. You can get more details of the curriculum for this class by contacting ACSM.
This class is limited to the first 65 people who arrive at the
classroom. You cannot pre-register for the class. The tuition is
included as a part of your conference registration fee. The ACSM event
coordinators, not TDS, will handle all coordination of this event. More

Anaheim, California training
TDS regularly offers product training for surveyors who use TDS products. It will be holding classes in Anaheim, California on May 6 - 9. Days 1, 2. Choose between Windows CE (Ranger, Recon)/Pocket PC (Compaq iPAQ) or DOS (HP 48GX, HP 200, and Husky) data collector classes. Days 3, 4. Choose between a 2-day ForeSight PC software class or a 1-day RTK/GPS. The RTK class will be taught using a Ranger Windows CE data collector. The cost for the 2-day data collection portion is $600. The ForeSight class alone costs $600. If you register for a 2-day data collection class, you can attend the ForeSight 2-day class for half price, just $300. The cost for the RTK/GPS class is $300.
