Visual Edge Technology Inc. named Ronald E. Huff as vice president of finance and CFO.

The Board of Directors of Visual Edge Technology Inc., a family of imaging solutions companies specializing in providing office and wide format equipment, consumables and service throughout North America, has named Ronald E. Huff as vice president of finance and chief financial officer of Visual Edge Technology Inc. The announcement was made by Mark C. Lewis, President and CEO of Visual Edge Technology.

Prior to joining Visual Edge in October 2004, Huff specialized in analyzing and sourcing capital for early stage business clients, primarily in the private debt and equity markets. Prior to that, he was an officer at Belden & Blake, where he held the position of CFO for eleven years. He was instrumental in taking the company public in 1992, growing through several acquisitions and successfully selling the company in 1997 to the Texas Pacific Group for $440 million. As a condition of the sale, he retained the position of President and Chief Financial Officer of Belden Blake, where he negotiated numerous acquisitions over the next two years to grow the Midwest energy company as part of the overall portfolio of Texas Pacific Group companies.

Huff spent his early years in Houston, Texas, where he held finance positions for large energy firms. He graduated with a BS in Accounting from the University of Wyoming in 1977 and earned his CPA in 1980. He resides in Canton with his wife, daughter and son and has served on several industry and academic boards.
