The construction products division of Surveyors Service Company (Costa Mesa, Calif.), announced that Bob Elliott has been appointed to the position of division manager. In his new role, Elliott will oversee all sales and support activities related to this group. Surveyors Service Company has offices in Costa Mesa, Calif.; San Diego, Calif.; Phoenix, Ariz.; Tucson, Ariz.; Albuquerque, N.M.; and Las Vegas, Nev.

Surveyors Service Company has been in business since 1926, and is a distributor of total stations, theodolites and GPS systems for the surveying and civil engineering industries. The construction products division was created in 1993 to service the specialized needs of the construction industry and represents, among others, Leica Geosystems and Laser Alignment for construction total stations, theodolites, machine control systems, lasers, levels and supplies. Elliott joined Surveyors Service Company in 2000, and is based out of the San Diego office.
