Crain Enterprises Inc. an-nounced its new data collector mount system, the Data-Max. Constructed of lightweight, high-strength composite material, the versatile Data-Max can tilt the data collector to any one of 26 positions for easy viewing. The connection point to the pole or tripod with the Data-Max is evenly distributed, so the pole or tripod will not be dented, distorted or broken. The Data-Max system can be customized for specific data collectors and can quickly be converted from right- to left-hand use. The Data-Max is capable of securely mounting to a prism pole, GPS pole or a tripod leg, and doesn't require the holder to be dismounted when going from setup to setup.
