MoreJessie Hummel, PSM, has recently started a surveying company, SAiBYS Inc. to specialize in 3D High Definition Laser Scanning. SAiBYS is an acronym for Surveying Aided By Scanning.
With more than 40 years experience in the surveying and mapping business, Hummel created SAiBYS to take advantage of the new technology.
Hummel previously worked as a Vice President/Regional Manager, Survey Manager and Project Manager, all for Florida surveying firms. He has authored industry manuals and lent his expertise to coaching, teaching and lecturing survey professionals.
SAiBYS services also include commercial surveying and residential title work, however the bulk of the business is devoted to scanning. Appealing to architects, engineers and contractors, SAiBYS aims to change the way these industries obtain their survey data for projects.
