Attendance Up 20% for The Annual CSI Show & Convention and Partners

The Annual Construction Specifications Institute Show & Convention is the only event with education and exhibits covering the entire facility life cycle.

The 49th Annual CSI Show & Convention, The Masonry Showcase and The TFM Show drew 8,222 participants to Chicago in April, a 20 percent increase over the previous year's attendance. The three tradeshows, which co-located in McCormick Place Convention Center, combined to offer 800 exhibits and more than 130 education sessions to participants.

The Construction Specifications Institute (CSI) is now preparing for The 50th Annual CSI Show & Convention, which will take place March 29-31 in Las Vegas. The Masonry Showcase, which is produced by the Mason Contractor's Association of America (MCAA), will again co-locate with The Annual CSI Show & Convention in Las Vegas. Exhibitors have already reserved nearly 30,000 square feet of CSI's exhibit space at the event.

The Annual CSI Show & Convention is the only event with education and exhibits covering the entire facility life cycle. It attracts designers, engineers, specifiers, contractors, suppliers, facility managers, owners, and people who work with them. CSI co-locates its Show & Convention with shows like The Masonry Showcase to expand the exhibits and education available for participants.

Other organizations contributed to the expansion of The Annual CSI Show & Convention education program this year by providing education sessions. These education partners included: Alliance to Save Energy (ASE), Lean Construction Institute (LCI), ARCOM, Specifications Consultants in Independent Practice (SCIP), National Insulation Association (NIA), and the U.S. Green Building Council (creators of the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design-or LEED-program).

This year's participants were attracted to the variety of exhibits, as well as CSI's Expo Education, which allowed them to earn continuing education credit in the exhibit hall by attending education sessions offered by exhibitors.
