A.R.E. Announces National Marketing Partnership with COSTCO Automotive Program

Following a successful three-month trial, A.R.E. Inc. has announced plans to roll out an innovative national marketing initiative in partnership with COSTCO Automotive Group. The program allows COSTCO warehouse club members to receive special discounts on A.R.E. truck caps and tonneau covers.

The cooperative marketing effort for COSTCO members was tested in Sacramento, Calif.; Reno, Nev.; and all of Oregon.

The type of clout the COSTCO name holds with its strong, loyal membership base translates into instant credibility for any company associated with the club.

Participation in the COSTCO Auto Program, which will be introduced to A.R.E. dealers nationwide, is now available in Ala., Alaska, Ariz., Calif., Colo., Fla., Ga., Hawaii, Idaho, Kan., Md., Mo., Nev., N.M., N.C., Ore., S.C., Tenn., Texas, Utah, Va. and Wash.

As the exclusive truck cap and tonneau cover supplier to the COSTCO Auto Program, A.R.E. products are showcased on an in-store vehicle display at various COSTCO locations. The attention-getting vehicle and accompanying point-of-purchase exhibit provides customers with informative product brochures for the full line of A.R.E. truck caps and hard tonneau covers. Discount coupons for the A.R.E. products are featured in the COSTCO Auto Group Magazine, which is distributed on a complimentary basis to members at COSTCO warehouses.

A.R.E. Inc. has been a leading manufacturer of fiberglass truck caps and hard tonneau covers for the past 35 years with more than 800 employees at its three ISO-9001:2000-certified manufacturing facilities (two in Northeast Ohio and one near Reno, Nev.), and a network of over 500 independent authorized dealers nationwide.
