Trimble Navigation Limited, Sunnyvale, Calif., recently announced several enhancements to its land survey product line at Intergeo 2000 in Berlin, the world’s largest international event for geodesy and geoinformatics. These enhancements include: the GPS Total Station 4700 with an extended range of field data collection solutions and a new survey controller for the Zeiss Elta surveying system. Also, the TTS Optical Survey Family is superceded by the new Geodimeter 600S DR 200+ Direct Reflex instrument.

The GPS Total Station 4700 is a modular real-time kinematic surveying system with an enhanced range of field data collection surveys. The Zeiss Elta Survey Controller offers a larger, semi-graphical display and faster computing power. The Geodimeter 600S DR 200+ Direct Reflex Total Station Series offers a variety of benefits such as servo, robotic capability and on-board software.
