MorePOB's parent company, BNP Media, sponsored the building of a Habitat for Humanity home in Detroit.
Hundreds of volunteers from around the world--including the staff of POB magazine--built 30 new homes in southwest Detroit during the week of June 17-24, 2005. This effort, called a "Blitz Build," was part of the Jimmy Carter Work Project 2005 for Habitat for Humanity.
POB's parent company, BNP Media, sponsored the building of a home for the family of Efrain and Damaris Guevara. POB was proud to participate in this project, and all of our staff members were able to volunteer on the jobsite.
