BL Companies, Baltimore, Md., announced that Michael Gates has joined the Survey Department as a manager, Surveying Services.
Gates brings more than 20 years' experience in land surveying and 12 years of network administration experience. Prior to joining BL Companies, he was a chief of Surveys/Network Administrator with DFI Inc. in Severna Park, Md.
Gates is a member of the Maryland Society of Surveyors and received training for Land Desktop, ArcView, MCSE, TDS software and storm drain design. He has received a diploma for microelectronics and computers, is Network+ certified and a licensed professional land surveyor in Maryland.
