The United States Geological Survey (USGS), National Mapping Division (NMD) recognized Greenhorne & O’Mara Inc. (G&O), Greenbelt, Md., as a “Top Performer” for its performance on the Cartographic Services Contract (CSC) for NMD. Under the CSC Contract, G&O provides a wide range of photogrammetric and mapping services. This is NMD’s only board scope contract, which produces standard and non-standard graphic and digital cartographic products as well as surveying and photogrammetry services. During the past two years, G&O has provided graphic updates to the standard 7.5-minute quadrangle maps, digital line graph vector revisions, Digital Elevation Models (DEMs), digital raster graphics, digital orthophoto quads, aerial photogrammetry and field surveys. G&O was recognized for successfully completing its task orders on or ahead of schedule and for their professionalism during technical briefings, negotiations and follow-up technical discussions.
