Count on Cat at CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2005

Caterpillar invites you to review its newest products and product support capabilities at the upcoming Las Vegas show.

Caterpillar Inc. is pleased to announce its participation in CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2005 in Las Vegas, Nevada, March 15-19, 2005. Caterpillar invites you to review its newest products and product support capabilities.

The Caterpillar exhibits present the extensive product line and value that Caterpillar and Cat dealers bring to customers working in road and site development, paving, building construction and trades, underground utilities, and quarry and aggregates mining. In addition to new technology and equipment management solutions, Caterpillar will present more than 50 machines-many of which are being displayed publicly for the first time-and more than 40 complementary work tools, nine Cat engines and dealer support and rental services.

The Caterpillar exhibits focus on the ways that Caterpillar Inc. and Caterpillar Dealers help customers control costs, boost productivity, develop and keep skilled people, enhance jobsite safety and meet regulatory requirements. Customers can Count on Cat to help them succeed.

The Caterpillar exhibits include the worldwide introduction of several machines ranging from compact to large wheel loaders, cold planers to asphalt pavers, and small to midsize industrial engines. You will find Caterpillar in three different exhibit areas:

Booth #2009, North Hall
The large indoor exhibit features machines and services for road and site development, underground utilities installation and quarry and aggregates operations. New machines on display in the North Hall include the new D8T tractor equipped with the new AccuGrade GPS machine guidance system, the 730 Ejector Truck, the versatile 930G wheel loader, the workhorse 345C L excavator and the RM-500 reclaimer/soil stabilizer. The 325C LCR, featuring a compact swing radius, debuts in the underground utilities area. Two new, highly productive wheel loaders, the 980H and the 988H, are stars of the quarry and aggregates area.

A comprehensive display of customer support services completes the North Hall exhibit. Services include power train and hydraulic service, contamination control, maintenance management, fluids and filters, undercarriage and ground engaging tools.

In Booth #15627 of the North Hall, Caterpillar OEM Solutions presents Caterpillar components for original equipment manufacturers.

Booth #130, OUTSIDE Gold Lot
The Caterpillar outside exhibit features machines and services for general construction and the trades as well as paving. New products on display in the Cat Pavilion include the new 904B compact wheel loader and the TH215 compact telehandler. The largest of the Caterpillar backhoe loaders, the 446D, shares the spotlight. Nine machines come to life in an outdoor demonstration showcasing the versatility and maneuverability of Caterpillar skid steer loaders, multi terrain loaders, telehandlers, small tractors, mini excavators and the new CB-114 vibratory compactor. A number of new work tools help demonstrate ways to increase equipment productivity and utilization.

The paving area of the Caterpillar Pavilion features the updated AP-1055D and AP-800D asphalt pavers, the new PM-201 cold planer and the new RM-300 reclaimer.

South Hall, Booths #15617 and #15827
The Caterpillar industrial engines exhibit features several new small to mid-size engines ranging from the C1.1 IOPU to the C7 featuring ACERT technology to meet Tier 3/Stage IIIa emissions standards. Large engines, also featuring ACERT technology, are on display, too. A Cat C9 cutaway engine reveals some of the magic.

In the South Hall, too, Perkins Engines Company Ltd. displays an array of fuel-efficient engines designed to power construction equipment. The Perkins 1100D Series engines employ ACERT technology to meet Tier 3/Stage IIIa emissions regulations.
