Carter & Burgess Appoints New Associate Professional Surveyor

Carter & Burgess has recognized Marla McOmber for her success within the industry and her contributions to the firm, naming her an Associate.

Carter & Burgess, a national consulting firm for engineering, architecture and related services, has recognized Marla McOmber for her success within the industry and her contributions to the firm. She has been named an Associate of Carter & Burgess.

McOmber serves currently as a Survey Group manager based in Denver, Colo. Her 30 years of survey knowledge and experience have spanned all aspects of the survey profession, including American Land Title Association boundary surveys, route surveys, design topographic survey projects and large global positioning system control surveys.

She has extensive experience with the Colorado Department of Transportation; the Federal Highway Administration; and the City of Grand Junction, Colo.; developing right-of-way and monument highways throughout many of the western states.

McOmber is accredited as a professional land surveyor in Colorado and a registered land surveyor in Kansas.
