MoreThe systems include Leica GX1220 GPS surveying instruments, with AX1202 antennas and post-processing software. They will be used for a variety of surveying applications in Mexico, including densification of the geodetic network, cadastral surveys, hydrographic surveys and bench-level surveys for update of geographical and topographical maps.
The GX1220 receivers are designed with Leica Geosystems' new SmartTrack GPS measurement engine, and incorporate fast self-checking RTK algorithms and a comprehensive self-explanatory graphical user interface. The rugged GPS instruments, with magnesium allow construction, are built to the toughest MIL specifications to withstand extreme field conditions. The SmartTrack technology ensures reliable centimeter-accuracy solutions at distances of 30 km or more.
