Contino Directs Topcon's International Sales and Marketing

Mark Contino is now charged with overseeing GPS and machine control product marketing activities worldwide, and sales activities for these products outside of the western hemisphere.

Topcon Positioning Systems, Inc. proudly announces the promotion of Mark Contino from marketing manager to director of international sales and marketing. He is now charged with overseeing GPS and machine control product marketing activities worldwide, and sales activities for these products outside of the western hemisphere. His responsibilities also include managing marketing activities for optical and laser products in the western hemisphere.

Contino received his college education at the Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, New York. Early in his 15-year career, he worked as a salesman and technical specialist with survey product dealers in Oregon and New York. Prior to joining Topcon in 2001, Contino managed western regional sales for Sokkia. Contino's enthusiastic performance as a member of Topcon's corporate staff is a major asset to the company.

Sales of Topcon products in all divisions are rapidly growing worldwide. Topcon is constantly developing new, advanced technologies that provide innovative solutions for surveyors, GIS professionals, engineers, and contractors. Qualified leaders like Mark Contino are essential to guiding the flow of information and products to customers.
