Within the Detroit District boundaries or as directed. Surveying, mapping, and related services required include but are not limited to the following: topographic, horizontal and vertical control, property (real estate), construction layout, and hydrographic surveying; photogrammetric mapping, volume computations, and computer aided drafting and design (CADD). Surveys will be performed at various project sites throughout the Great Lakes region and may include hazardous, toxic, radioactive waste (HTRW) sites. Work will require Global Positioning System (GPS) surveying, digital data collection, and conventional survey techniques. Perform volume computations of materials. Establish vertical and horizontal control at project sites. Map project sites to support engineering and planning projects.
