U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service, Region 2, seeks quotes for installation of timber pilings marking the proclamation boundary around Arkansas National Wildlife Refuge. Pilings shall be installed following completion of the survey; survey should be available sometime in August. Commencement on this contract is anticipated for sometime in mid August or early September, with completion by early or mid October. The contractor shall furnish and install 2.5 CCA treated timber pilings. Pilings shall be sunk in the bay a minimum of six feet and be approximately five feet above mean tide. Proclamation boundary signs will be furnished by the Government. All work will be performed over water; average depth of water ranges from three to six feet. The estimated price range is between $25,000 to $100,000 and is open to both small and large businesses. The SIC is 1629.
