Call for Papers for Remote Sensing

Weekly Update

The Canadian Journal of Remote Sensing released its guidelines for submission of papers for a special issue. The scientific publications are both authored and reviewed by women scientists in any disciplinary field of remote sensing. The special issue provides an opportunity for publishing a collection of peer-reviewed papers and research notes covering the application, methodology or technology of remote sensing as used in any scientific field. Statements of intent have been received from women in Italy, UK, USA and Canada. Statements of intent to participate (composed of title, author(s) and brief summary) should be sent to either Dr. Brenda Topliss at ToplissB@mar.dfo-mpo.gc.ca or Dominique Proy at dominique.proy@cnes.fr by August 15, 2000. Manuscripts to be received by November 30, 2000; reviews will be completed by February 28, 2001; revised manuscripts accepted for publication will be due in final form by May 31, 2000; and publication of the special issue is scheduled for Autumn/Winter 2001.
