In response to a growing demand for geospatial data products for applications in GIS and digital mapping environments, the Spatial Technologies division of ISSI Consulting Group Inc. signed a contract with Cartica Corp., Boulder, Colo., to provide geospatial data processing services for production of the newest line of Cartica vector map products. Cartica is the second major vendor of digital GIS products to select the ISSI Spatial Technologies processing facility in Denver as its primary source of data integration services. In March, Pixxures Inc. of Golden, Colo., contracted ISSI to produce map-quality digital images from air photos and satellite images using Pixxures’ proprietary PixMap process.

Cartica Planning Bundles are multi-layer vector products created from a variety of digital spatial data sources. They are designed for use by local government sand utilities in small to medium scale planning projects.
