The series launches on Jan. 22 with Joseph V.R. Paiva's "Are You Keeping Up with Technology, Or Is Technology Outrunning You?" The Webinar will review leading edge-but functional-advanced field and office surveying technologies, including ways in which these technologies work and how to apply them. Benefits, drawbacks and hidden costs will be identified as well as changes to business processes that may need to be implemented to maximize their effectiveness. On Feb. 17, Jeff Lucas will present "Better Business Practices and the Law," and on March 19, Gary Kent, PS, will present "Managing Your Business in Challenging Times."
The three Webinars will take place from 2-3 p.m. EST and will be followed by a live Q-and-A session with attendee-submitted questions. POB Editor Christine L. Grahl will be moderating. Regular tuition is $49 per Internet connection. The cost of the 1.0 PDH credit is included in tuition.
To be endorsed by Missouri University of Science and Technology, participants must pass the quiz after each Webinar with a score of 80 percent or better. A certificate of completion from the university will be provided upon request. Individuals are responsible for submitting the course to their state licensing board for approval.
