Course:         TerraSync Professional 4.1 and Pathfinder Office 4.2              

Course Content:

• Create a data dictionary in the GPS Pathfinder Office software

• Associate GPS fundamentals with the criteria of a TerraSync software mapping project

• Identify TerraSync system components

• Configure your data collector with recommended data collection parameters and record GPS data with recommended methods

• Perform differential correction with the GPS Pathfinder Office software

• Navigate and use waypoints

• Update GIS data

• Export data to a GIS or CAD system

Prerequisite:  Free on-line Introduction Course, “Introduction to GPS”

Additional Info:

• Students should bring their own current Trimble GPS equipment with TerraSync installed

• Students without equipment may rent equipment at nominal charge

• Students should bring laptop computer with current version of Pathfinder Office (PFO) installed.

• If students do not have a license for PFO, a temporary license will be made available for the instruction.

• Enrollment is limited
