Old Oklahoma State Survey Records Only a Click Away

When what is now Oklahoma was originally surveyed as Oklahoma and Indian Territories, there was no surveyor's general office in which to file the records, so they were held in Springfield, Virginia by the Bureau of Land Management Eastern States Office. Those copies, of course began to deteriorate over time ...
