SECO Making New ANSI/ISEA Class 2 and 3 Safety Utility Vests to Satisfy Federal Mandates
These new vests not only meet mandated requirements but are also loaded with helpful features

REDDING, CA — SECO Manufacturing recently developed two new ANSI/ISEA 107-2004 compliant vests (#8365 – Class 3 and #8265 – Class 2) in conjunction with surveyors from the California Department of Transportation.

The Federal Highway Administration will soon require that anyone working on a federally funded highway jobsite wear an ANSI/ISEA 107-2004 compliant vest. The new visibility mandate goes in to effect November of this year.

SECO’s new Class 2 and 3 safety vests keep you visible and are designed with utility and comfort in mind. Both vests feature quality materials like texturized polyester, YKK zippers and Outlast phase change material.

Features include pockets for radios, phones, markers, field books, maps, flagging tape, spray cans, etc.  Some improved features on these vests include a stiffer backing behind the pen/pencil pocket; a new flexible lanyard strap for securing paint cans; and padded neck material. Two mic clips on each side of the vest, two grommets up top for hanging miscellaneous gear and a large map pocket on the back round out the superb features, making these two of the most convenient safety vests on the market.
