Now’s your chance to teach those young
whippersnappers on your crew a thing or two about how easy they’ve got it. Take
them to the Historical Construction Equipment Association (HCEA) show and let
them see how dirt used to be dug.
On August 8-10, equipment enthusiasts from all over the world will congregate
in Brownsville, Pennsylvania, for the 23rd annual HCEA convention and show.
Vintage equipment, including crawler tractors, graders, scrapers and
bulldozers, will be on display. Two very rare--and still operating--pieces of
construction-equipment history will be featured: a 1913 Thew steam shovel and a
1927 Erie steam shovel.
You can park--or even camp--for free at the show. Visit
www.hcea.net for more
information.
