The conference, themed "Geospatial Technologies: Connecting our Industries in Meeting the Region's Challenges," will take place December 6-10, 2010 in Trinidad.
Contributions are invited for the 2010 symposium in Paris. These will take the form of scholarly written papers for presentation at the symposium by their authors. All contributions will be subject to prior peer-review and will also be published in the formal proceedings of the COBRA 2010 conference.
The conference—for GIS professionals, addressing coordinators, 9-1-1 and emergency response specialists —will take place in Charlotte, North Carolina, August 16-18, 2010.
The conference will be held at the National Conference Centre in Hanoi. We expect about 400 participants from all over the world with a specific focus in Asia and the region. The topics of the conference are selected to address issues that are at the top of the regional and local agendas, and at the same time giving a platform for international discussions.
The
Geospatial Information & Technology Association (GITA) announced that the
Call for Papers is now open for its 18th Annual GIS for Oil & Gas
Conference, and the submission deadline is April 6, 2009. The conference is
setfor Sept. 13-17,
2009, in Houston, Texas.

Deadline for peer review papers and non peer review abstracts has been extended
to 1 December 2008. We have
received a good number of papers already but there is still space in the
programme for quality presentations.
We invite you to submit an
abstract for the FIG Working Week by 10
November 2009. The abstract should be 250 to 500 words in length
describing the objectives, results, conclusions and significance of your work.
