The Philadelphia Business Journal has named Bursich Associates, Inc. (Bursich) one of the Philadelphia area’s “Top Engineering Firms” for 2010. This marks the first time Bursich has been named to this list.

“This is a challenging time in our industry due to the reduction in spending by our private and public sector clients,” said President Scott Exley. “The fact that we have been recognized as a top engineer in the Philadelphia area is a testament to the quality of our employees and our work, in addition to our ability to weather the economic storm.”

Bursich Associates, Inc., founded in 1972, is an engineering, planning, and land surveying firm based in Pottstown, Pa, with additional locations in Berks and Bucks counties. The firm specializes in highway and roadway design; water and wastewater engineering; bridge, culvert, and retaining wall design; land development site design engineering; stormwater management design; and land surveying throughout Pennsylvania. With a staff of 40 professionals, Bursich services local, county, state, and federal government within the public sector and residential, commercial, industrial, and institutional clients in the private sector.
