SOKKIA TOPCON CO., LTD. has acquired from NovAtel Inc. all of the shares held by NovAtel in POINT Inc., thus making POINT a wholly owned subsidiary of SOKKIA TOPCON. The parties have also executed a three-year supply agreement pursuant to which NovAtel will continue to supply GNSS boards to POINT for the purpose of maintenance.

POINT was established in August 1999 as a joint venture in which SOKKIA TOPCON and NovAtel held share capital of 51% and 49%, respectively. Based in Kansas, POINT is responsible for the development and manufacture of GNSS products for the SOKKIA group.
