For survey and civil engineering firms interested in completing projects on-time and with success, 3D laser scanning technology is the key. On Sept. 10 at 2 p.m. EDT, Jim van Rens, president of Riegl USA Inc., will present “3D Laser Scanning: The Power to Discover”--a free interactive Webinar that will describe the reasons for using 3D laser scanning technology, including its unprecedented speed and range, and the benefit of having externally mounted photogrammetric cameras.

Participants in this free Webinar will learn how the peak pulse repetition rate and effective measurement rate of a scanner (typically indicated in measurements per second) can impact scan speed and quality. The Webinar will also address key differences between externally mounted photogrammetric cameras and internal cameras and explain why external cameras provide a distinct advantage.

Following the informative presentation, attendees will be able to participate in a live, interactive Q&A session with van Rens. Individuals who are interested in the presentation but can't attend the live Webinar should still register so that they can view the recorded session at their convenience.
