ACSM will once again hold a Lobby Day as part of its Fall Meeting. This year, Lobby Day will take place on September 24, with an information meeting taking place on September 23 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Holiday Inn in Gaithersburg.

The issues we will discuss this year are: Preservation of Railroad Monumentation, Federal Funding for Trig-Star, Coastal Mapping Legislation, and Bureau of Land Management Funding. It is vital that we get as many participants as possible to join us this year because we will be meeting with Members of Congress on these very important issues.

Please note that this year Lobby Day participants are asked to personally make appointments with their respective Representatives and Senators. We are trying to schedule all meetings with Senators in the morning of the 24th and meetings with Representatives in the afternoon of the 24th, but whatever time you can arrange will be fine.

When your meetings are set, please contact Laurence Socci at laurence@theclagroup.com so that we can draft the Master Schedule.

Thanks for your participation in this very important event.
