XYZworks Announces New Fieldbook XL Data Collector

XYZworks announced the new Fieldbook XL data collector based on a 624MHz Intel® processor. The Fieldbook XL includes 128MB SDRAM and 512MB built-in CF Card storage. There is also a CF card slot to add additional storage. Fieldbook XL has a 9 pin serial port and USB port. The new data collector also has built-in wireless Bluetooth and WiFi capabilities. It has a rugged IP65 rating to withstand wind blown rain. Fieldbook XL operates on Microsoft® Windows® CE.NET 5.0 and has a 2 year limited warranty for parts and labor. Some convenience features are a removable nickel metal hydride battery with life up to 12 hours along with a stylus holder and 3 stylus and hand strap. The data collector includes Fieldworks software to work with most popular total stations, GPS, roading, and robots without buying extra cost modules. Includes free updates and support.
