Analytical Surveys Inc., Indianapolis, Ind., will provide geospatial data maintenance services for Reliant Energy, a Texas-based energy service company.

ASI is developing a customized data maintenance solution for Reliant Energy’s geospatial information system. Reliant Energy will use the data for updating its gas and electrical facilities. According to Jim Cox, Reliant Energy’s Manager of GIS Data Management, “Reliant Energy will benefit from having a rich, robust and corporate-wide information resource and ASI will be able to demonstrate its proven process for data maintenance.”

ASI’s maintenance program will help eliminate backlog and provide the most updated information available for Reliant Energy.
