It is our
privilege and honor to invite you to the FIG
Working Week 2009, which will take place in Eilat, a resort city at
the southernmost edge of , at the 5*deluxe Herods &
Dan Eilat Hotels. We expect to host 700 participants from all over the
world.
The
professional theme of the Working Week is “Surveyors Key Role in Accelerated
Development”, which
addresses many of the issues facing surveyors in the next years.
As always, the Working Week will gather international professionals and academia
members from the fields of land surveying, land and real-estate appraisal, GIS,
spatial planning, environmental awareness, and civil
engineering.
All ten FIG technical commissions will
attend the conference and papers are therefore requested to all topics of
interest of the following FIG commissions:

Peer Review – Submission of AbstractsWe invite you to submit an
abstract for the FIG Working Week by 10
November 2009. The abstract should be 250 to 500 words in length
describing the objectives, results, conclusions and significance of your work.
The abstracts should also include the names and affiliations of all authors.
Please feel free to submit an abstract on any topic related to the specific
topics of the Working Week 2009. List of
topics of special interest of different commissions and the
organising committee are listed below.

reviewed paper at the FIG Working Week 2009 you should submit your full paper by
10 November 2008. When preparing
the paper, please follow the guidelines prepared for papers (paper guidelines and the specific paper template for FIG Working Week 2009).
Please feel free to submit an abstract on any topic related to the specific
topics of the Working Week 2009. List of

The peer review process is double blind
and deadlines for different steps can be seen below under important dates.
